I LOVE my new O.P.I red nail polish! I just painted my nails and they are hot I tell you. Although I am not amazingly good at painting them yet I’m getting there and intend to get lots of practise.

I am slowly working blogs into my life, I have never been big on just ‘surfing the net’ but I now realise you can find some very cool things on them. They are a great way to educate yourself on certain topics which I am finding very handy for inspiration for Willoh, as well as just being entertaining and fun.

It is Halloween this Friday and it will be my first real Halloween, us Aussies don’t really celebrate Halloween well not to the extent of Canada and the US. But I am enjoying it so far, well the shopping for it that is! I bought very cool nail polish today O.P.I- A oui bit of red is it’s name and it’s for my costume, actually I have been meaning to purchase red nail polish so it is for general use also! Should go very well with my devil outfit

Next up red stockings….hmm the ever reliable H&M here I come.

fibre red!

I have just re-discovered one of my favourite Australian clothing designers Kim Simon. Her label is fibre red and she creates amazing designs from 100% Merion wool. Check out www.fibrered.com I have a long skirt – same as the one in the photo it is amazing and super comfortable.

I am very excited to visit fibre red’s studio in Fitzroy when I return to my home town of Melbourne, Australia for my best friends wedding in November. Hopefully I can pick up a few of her pieces to stock up for the coming winter in Vancouver, Canada.

So now I have finished talking up fibre red I’d like to introduce myself and my blog. Usually I reside is the wonderful city which is Melbourne, Australia but as of September 2007 myself and my boyfriend have called Vancouver, Canada home – well at least a place to earn money while we travel Canada and the USA.

Now to my blog Willoh. I have been wanting to start a blog for a while now and finally I have got my arse into gear which I am both excited and nervous about. I feel a blog is a big commitment which is where the nervousness part fits in, but also very exciting to be writing about something I love – FASHION. I know this is a very broad subject but one I am very interested in. I will write about amazing Australian designers as well of course as designers from all around the world. But I will not limit myself to fashion design, I also have a new found interest in furniture design thanks to my job at nood – check us out www.nood.ca

Willoh is also a place where I will post photos and stories from my travels, fun times with family and friends and all sorts of other goodies. I hope you enjoy!
